Hi everyone. For those of you who know what Bowman models are, I need make no introduction. For those of you unsure, a comapny called Bowman (which itself has a fascinating history) made toy steam engines and boats and a few other bits and pieces at their factory in Dereham, Norfolk, UK, from about 1927 to 1935. I run a group on Yahoo for collectors of these facinating toys - many of which runs just as well today - 80 years later - as they did when they were purchased as children's Christmas presents.  There are several toy fairs at which Bowman toys are exhibited and - importantly - run. Some of these events are geared mostly or exclusively to toy steam. The big one is in February in Leicester, UK, each year.
