Dinky Freeway Cruiser Customised Ford Transit Van
One of several “Customised” models based around existing castings with new bases and wheels, the Freeway Cruiser’s rather vivid decals often put off collectors. However, the model is highly notable for one thing: it’s the only Dinky model of the Mk2 Transit which came without the Police/Emergency Vehicle Roofbox and Rooflight, since a standard van version was never issued.

Racing Champions entered the diecast field just before the Hollywood production by Paramount Pictures "Days of Thunder" was released. Early in their production history, Racing Champions released a series of inexpensive castings that appear to be made by Welly.

EFSI
The EFSI name is derived from "Fons Sociale Instellingen", a Dutch institution providing work to miners who lost their jobs in the late 1960s. In the 1970s, this firm introduced a series of 1:90 scale trucks and buses. The early examples were single carded models named "Rev Wheels". EFSI was remamed Holland Oto, and currently produces model trucks and buses.
