The Spot-On Revival

 They are back!  Somebody mentioned the other day that Norev bought Spot-On and now there is a catalogue!

Hi ModelCarFreak,
Have you any more information? The catalogue shows the back of a sports car with spoked wheels which you find on a lot of copy Spot-On Sport cars nowadays.
Although it states 2008 on the catalogue, why is the bottom picture showing an original Sports car set? with wear and tear to the box inarde. Is Norev going to produce this set in "distressed condition"? (as seem's to be the trend with restored furniture?)Has Norev bought the original tooling as well as the name Spot-On?. Are they going to manufacture in die cast?

Any more information would be welcome.

This page http://www2.spot-on-models.com has a direct link from the Norev Home Page and here is the Norev forum http://forum.norev.com/viewtopic.php?t=1197 on the subject (but in French); it does not seem to give more information.

Doe anybody else know?
