Here we have an example of the 260 Royal Mail Delivery Van in its original box. The model uses the frame of a J Morris van, which was notably also used for the 465 blue Capstan vans.

Dinky 25v Bedford Cab

I have been working on the cabs for the Dinky 25v Bedford Refuse truck. This cab was used for a number of different models and I have discovered, I am sure not for the first time, that there are some significant casting changes. Mostly in the rear section. The front end is different where the bumper ends. Look at the photos and you will see what I mean.

Dinky Toys 25H Restored and 250 Compared

It took a while but here they are at last. A few years ago I had a great find, the Dinky Toys 250 Streamlined Fire Engine, with original tattered box and knobbly tires. This was depicted on the box aswell although I didn't realise the significance of this until much later. Apart from paint scuffs the truck appeared mint, especially the chassis. It had, however, the ladder and bell missing, but I managed to find some at the Aussie site 'Recovertoy'.
